We cannot accept home tanned hides.

Number Of Hides Required To Make One Hat Daniel Boone style:
Raccoon 1 X-Large or 2 matched mediums
Fox 1 X-large
Skunk 2 Large
Opossum 2 Large
Badger 1 X-large or 2 matched mediums
Coyote 1 large
If you want Daniel Boone with face you must have a good face on your hide all must have good tail.
Mountain man hats have the same requirements as the Daniel Boone plus good feet.
All fur trooper hats:
Raccoon 3 large hides Fox 4 large hides
Beaver 1 Blanket or 2 large hides
Coyote 2 large hides
Skunk 8 large hides
Opossum 8 large hides
Please note:
- Specify hat size or measurement around head.
- If you want your fur scraps returned add 3.00 for postage and handling.
- All orders must be prepaid.
- We do not have open accounts anymore
- Shipping,handling and insurance for stock items is10.00 or 6% of total which ever is higher.
- Shipping handling and insurance for labor (your hides) 10.00 and value of insurance
Remember your hat will only look as good as the fur that you send.
